Old Rasputin; Russian Imperial Stout (9% ABV) - North Coast Brewing Co.
A wild ride, not uncommon to the Imperial Stout flavour. A second go around has driven this beer admirer to validate its standing. It holds a rambunctious character, unfolding layer by layer of complex flavors. You should be able to stand your ground with the manic mystic as he is a powerful fellow, and any mystical embattlements should be held prior to engaging with other brews. The remnants at the final quintile of the brew should be considered residue, because that is all it's worth. Yet this should not dissuay you from embarking. The wild consistancy produces a kolaidascope of facial tensions and releases, as your mouth is continually accustoming itself to the visiting hops. A fine Imperial Stout, yet far from superior.

Wow arthur, 'You should be able to stand your ground with the manic mystic as he is a powerful fellow, and any mystical embattlements should be held prior to engaging with other brews' If that isn't poetic, I don't know what is. I am going to post my review of this right after this comment.
ps check your spelling of "kolaidascope"
